So, I told you guys my next post would be about Black Friday. It's quickly approaching. Hard to believe it will be here in less than a week. A lot of places are starting on Thursday at Midnight. So, be sure to check those flyer's.
So, how can I make your Black Friday run smoother? Here are some tips and tricks from someone that has been shopping for years on Black Friday!
- Look at your ads and see what is on sale.
- Next make sure you browse all adds and do price checks to see who has the lowest price.
- A lot of places price match so, if you want to save a trip...take the add of the item you want into the closer location.
- Most places do not match Black Friday Specials...Only sale price specials. (Double check locations to make sure though)
- Place adds in the order of what store you are going to first.
- Get up extra early. Don't be one of those that wait till 1/2 hour before the sale starts. Believe me...you will be lucky to get what you want, if you wait.
- If the sale starts at 5:00 am and the store is a 24 hr store, go 3 hours early, to get in line.
- Start with the item you want the most.
- If you have a person with you, have them stand in one line, you stand in the other, for the items you want.
- Once you are done with one store, Don't wait around...quickly head to the next.
- If you are waiting in a long line, be sure to know your store ahead of time. You will want to know what location the item that is on sale is at. So for instance, if it is a camera...you will be heading to electronics (more than likely)
- When you get your items, head to the front register as quick as possible. If you have that extra person and you are only getting a few items, have them get in the cash register line for you. Do not do this with a big cart. You will tick someone off.
- Last but not least...make time for breakfast! That's one of the things I look forward to the most. :D
